I struggle with all the normal issues women have with knicks, including tight leg bands, being fussy with the bib style, the dreaded chamois. I can honestly say that these knicks have revolutionised my comfort on the bike - and I've put mine through their paces.
The embedded leg gripper means you can say goodbye to the dreaded 'sausage leg', which as a bonus means that these knicks have a really flattering cut (read: your butt will look as good as its ever going to look in kit ;) ). The new chamois is even better than the old one (which was still very good). I don't like the 'Y' cut bibs, preferring the traditional brace style, and I've never found them to dig in or irritate me.
I would have absolute faith in wearing these knicks for any ride, and I have put them through their paces on nasty long climbs, long gravel roads and epic single day events like Peaks Challenge. They haven't let me down once, and I've easily put over 5000km into both pairs of mine.
I would recommend them to anyone (male or female) looking to invest in a really excellent quality pair of knicks.
