“Piece by piece, through many hands and shared energy, the right frequency came to life.”

The Rides

Frequencies had been in motion for months, shaped through ideas, sketches, conversations and a shared vision between Pedla and Trek. That momentum finally landed in Adelaide, where an empty gallery space became the foundation for something bigger.

Over the next day, Pedla and Trek crews worked side by side to build the space from the ground up. Displays took shape, artwork went up, sound and lighting were dialled in. What started as four walls quickly became a considered environment, a collaborative project brought to life with the support of partners including Pana Organic, Rhythm Social, Adelaide Audio Visual Hire, Allways Coffee, BentSpoke Brewing Co, Mood Racing, Finestro, and Essendon Hyundai.

What followed over the next ten days was more than a pop-up.

Frequencies became a hub for the Pedla x Trek collection during the Tour Down Under — but also a meeting point for cycling culture. A place to watch the racing, grab a coffee, explore the kit, catch a talk, and end up sharing a beer or wine with someone you’d only just met.

Art, music and cycling all moving together under one roof.

And then there were the rides.

Adelaide showed off. Across the week we covered 361km and climbed 5,555m, tracing some of the most iconic roads in the region.

We rolled out to Mt Lofty at sunrise, took on Corkscrew, floated along champagne gravel, wound through quiet forests and vineyard-lined hills, cruised the coast from Hallet Cove to Taperoo and carved down descents like Montacute with huge groups strung out behind us. Some days, riding with up to 100 people, it genuinely felt surreal.

Huge credit goes to Mood Racing for guiding us through their backyard, to the ride leaders who helped keep everyone safe, and to Essendon Hyundai, Slather sunscreen and Styrkr for keeping the wheels turning with support, fuel and hydration.

Back at the space, the conversations kept flowing.

The Space

We were lucky to host an incredible lineup of speakers — Matt Keenan, Simon Gerrans, Anu Francis, Sophie Byrne and Claudia Marcks — each bringing their own stories from racing, media, and life in cycling.

Every session filled the room, and every session left people buzzing. It was a reminder that the sport isn’t just built on results, but on shared experiences and the stories that stay with us long after the finish line.

A huge thank you as well to our host, Aidan Burgess from The Domestique, who guided the conversations, asked the right questions, and helped each story resonate with the room.

But more than anything, Frequencies was about people.

Riders, friends, partners, travellers, locals, our community came together in one of the world’s great cycling cities and created something bigger than any single ride or event.

Allways Coffee kept everyone fuelled from the first spin of the legs. BentSpoke Brewing Co delivered the perfect post-ride reward. Finestro brought the flavours of the Adelaide Hills into the evenings.

You brought the energy. You created the atmosphere. You set the frequency.

Frequencies may have been a moment in time, but the feeling lingers, in the rides we’re already planning, the friendships strengthened, and the memories of a space that pulsed with everything we love about cycling.

We’ll see you on the next wavelength.
