HCC Crit Prizes Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Pedla Major Prize for the Hawthorn Cycling Club (HCC) Summer Criterium Season.

Prize(s)

The total prize pool of $6,000AUD in Pedla Custom Kit Vouchers is split into 2x prizes available to win, with the winners determined by HCC. Each prize is made up of 1x $3,000AUD Pedla Custom Kit voucher.

To redeem the prize, the Custom order must have minimum 15x kits (1x kit is made up of 1x Jersey and 1x Bib Short).

Both prizes will be awarded as outlined below.

Eligibility & Awarding of Prize

All riders aged 18 or older (at 15^th March 2023) are eligible to participate in the competition for the two Major Pedla Season Prizes (one male and one female);

• The winners be determined by conducting two random draws (one male and one female) from all eligible riders who raced at least 10 events during the full crit season (19^th Oct to 15^th March 2023 inclusive); 
• In the case there are no riders who met the threshold (10 events) for a particular draw, then the threshold is progressively lowered, for that draw, until there is one or more riders in the draw; and
• The number of events that a rider raced is determined from the electronic timing data collected by HCC.  This means that riders must have their frame plate correctly mounted on the bike they race on.
