Mike Maka’s journey from a bicycle messenger in New York to a Melbourne-based street artist brings a unique perspective to his work. His experiences of navigating cities and experiencing nature through cycling have deeply influenced his artistic vision.
In his work, he paints a picture of nature fighting back against humans taking over, reclaiming space from the concrete jungles we’ve built. He focuses on the clash between humans, animals, and machines to remind us to reconnect with nature and the world around us.
