Riding from Fremantle to Sydney:
A Journey of Endurance & Advocacy to
Raise funds for Endometriosis
Karan is riding 4,000 km across Australia to raise funds for Endometriosis Australia, turning his biggest challenge yet into a platform for awareness, advocacy, and change.
Riding solo and unsupported, he’ll set off from Fremantle with his wheel in the Indian Ocean and finish three weeks later at the Sydney Opera House. His route spans highways, gravel, and small-town stops, always with a bakery pie in sight.
This cause is deeply personal. After watching his partner endure years of pain, dismissal, and misdiagnosis before finally receiving treatment for endometriosis, Karan wanted to do something meaningful. By riding, he hopes to raise funds for research, spark conversation, and help break the silence and stigma that so often surround the condition.
Cycling has long been Karan’s escape, and his way of rebuilding after setbacks, including a major mountain bike crash that left him with broken bones. In 2024, he rode solo from Melbourne to Sydney in just five days, a journey that revealed not only his own resilience but also the kindness of strangers along the way.
Now, with this ride across the country, Karan isn’t just chasing endurance. He’s riding to create connection, champion compassion, and bring visibility to a condition that affects so many.
